Well on Saturday we were at BBM because of a ceremony on behalf of the people suffering from this economic crisis. Such as people losing their jobs which means that they have no income thus leading to their suffering. Quite a few people went, my estimate is around 70 in total for the ceremony and lunch. After wards we the kids went for a walk which was Julia, Tammy, Maxine, Anne, Pum, and I! We first went to watch a movie, THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE!!! I actually liked that movie cause the people that know me know that I like chick flicks!!! For SURE! The movie is another cute sad love story. Anyways then we went wandering around Berkeley having no specific destination and we let Tammy lead the way to where ever! We just walked and walked which made us all tired and we also saw Tammy fall attempting to skateboard and that was pretty much the day. I summed it up to this small paragraph, that's because I don't wanna type much!

Haircuts and Meteor Showers?!?!?!?

Well the day started with my sister and I staying up past one like always but, this time we went outside to look up at the sky for a Meteor flying past the dark sky. Once we got out and in about 5 minutes we were in luck, we saw a huge Meteor flying across the dark sky which made it look just like a shooting star! Although I did not capture that moment in time you people reading my blog can imagine a shooting star! Then we both went to sleep and in the next few hours we woke up. Later in the day my mom told us that my sister was going to get a haircut at 4:30 which was later than what we expected but whatever. At the hair salon while my sister was cutting her hair I was studying more and more vocab hoping to increase my dictionary within my head. My sister's haircut took forever! But she did have a lot of hair cut of and when I say a lot it means a lot so it's understandable. Next up my mom decide to cut her hair also and it went by quite fast. After both my mom and my sister was done cutting their hair it was my turn. I went to a different place to cut my hair though, it was one of my aunts place. So I CUT MY HAIR!!! Just because I am going back to school and don't want to have a fresh haircut like everybody else will. After I finished I came home to take a shower and went down to study more and more and more! So much SAT work still ahead of me so yeah....

SAT Studying

Well I know I have not updated my blog for such a long time so I will understand if nobody sees this blog entry anytime soon. I have no excuse for no updating my blog and to tell you the truth I was just relaxing and trying to have a good time this summer. It's already towards the end of my summer and I will try to update my blog as much as possible before I leave back for school. Well not much has been going on this summer except for summer camp which I do not want to talk about because it was just tiring!!! For the past few days I have been trying to study the SAT's but I guess it's already really late to study. This should have been me last year but I believe I still can improve my score. I regret not studying the SAT's before this because I did not give too much thought to the idea of how important the SAT's were but every time I thought about it I was just somewhat scared I guess. Cowering away from the things that affect your future big time! But now I am determined to study but it's better late then never right! So I just need more encouragement from friends family and what not because they matter most and everybody just needs a little push but in my case I need a big push or else I will fail! If anybody has any tips for me about taking the SAT's or any websites I would be very happy if you could help me cause right now I need all the help I can get. I have been using the books, internet and etc. trying to help me complete this obstacle in life but anyways yeah. Leave me comments!!!

Day of CLEANING, COUSIANS, and Randomness

my mom's jacket actually is purple!!!

So the day started off with me waking up late which still took me by surprise. It's not late compared to you guys but late compared to me. So yeah.... My mom woke me up and told me help her to get the mirrors to the garbage people and Jonathan and I were the movers and my mom was so happy because they took the stuff!!! Then my mom was like get those pieces of wood so the recycle people can throw those away and during the wait my mom told me to move some flowers and I was like okay and I also took some pictures of the orchids my mom has and she has plenty as some of you know. The recycle dude finally came and he was very nice and threw it away for us and that also added to my mom's happiness!!! We then took Jonathan to the BART station where we saw some smashed windows of stores and cars since there was a riot like two days ago prior to this blog post. The riot started in Fruitvale with a friendly protest and a cop car came and the people were enraged and it turned into a riot and it went all the way down to 14th and Broadway. My mom and I then went home because the carpet cleaners were coming to our house and they were an hour late or so. We then cleaned the house so they could vacum all the rooms in the house and for like the next few hours the carpet was wet. My uncle and aunt and cousians came to get their car because they had left it here while they were in Vietnam. So my cousians are really big now compared to the last time I saw them so I was surprised. I then went to play some basketball and got Jonathan to come along but he was gonna read New Moon and he finished it there. I also saw these kids have practice and it's nice to see how public schools conduct their tryouts and practices. After Jonathan finshed the book we walked back home and found that our house was about done with the cleaning. We then went upstairs to my sister's room and started to chat and watch my cousians amusing themselves with the smallest toys. It was so cute but they had so much energy you don't even know. Jonathan was really liked by my cousians and they became good friends LOL!!! And that was pretty much my day and some random pics here and there like me learning a function on my camera the color swap one which is quite intersting. I used it on my mom's clothes and changed it to orange!!!

San Fancisco.... WHAT???

So the day started off with me like always waking up early!!! Then at around ten I had to go get ready take a shower and what not to go to the airport to pick up my uncle and drop Jonathan off. So we dropped him off in the airport and went our ways. I was looking for my uncle here and there and could not find him and my mom decided to go park the car and so we did. We waited for like and hour or almost two for them and they did not show up so we just went back to the bay area. On the way back I feel asleep in the car and when I woke up we were in Oakland near the Korean market which was interesting....!!! After the Korean market I went home and started some work like taking the Christmas lights of and so i did but I did it all by myself but it only took like what half and hour or so. I then went to update my blog about what has been happenings because I was just too lazy to update yesterday and feel asleep talking with Tammy and Sunny online!!! They practically chatted me too sleep and I woke up all tired and surrounded by some laptop equipment... so yeah... After updating my blog I went to play basketball at Wood school where some people invited me to play a pick up 5 on 5 game. So I played and got hit in the face once with an elbow and slipped on someone so I had my fare share of injuries in one day. Although I fell down and what not I still played okay.... well not that okay but just okay. So after the game I walked back home and found that my mom was not at home and she was actually went to pick Jonathan up from the BART station so i went to take a shower. After the Game and the shower I felt that my ankle is hurt but it's no big deal but it just hurts which is probably from an old injury so yeah. And after the shower I ate and watched some NBA and COLLEGE BASKETBALL which was good but basketball is not everything to me so it's just for fun. And watched 90210 a new episode which was good and then watched the NEWS and their is a big like really big riot going about in Oakkland and it's scary like really riots like cars burning violence etc. So that's what is up with me!!!!

Day of DENTISTS..... EWWWWW

So the day started off with me waking up early as usual but this day was weird just weird because I had two dentist appointments in one day... That was not pretty considering I had an Orthodontist appointment at what 2:15 PM and a cleaning appointment at 3:30. So my mom and I had appointments that conflicted so she went to hers and I went to mine. So I walked obviously with Jonathan and it was very fast and we saw so many kids considering the fact that they started school this week and I was still off for another week!!! So we passed through some schools and got to my appointment place at around what 2:10 so we were 5 minutes early considering we left at like 1:50 or so. SO then I went there changed the colors of my bad from Pink and I think Hot pink to GREEN AND PURPLE!!!. So that took only about 15 minutes of so and afterwards I went to eat some ICE SCREAM. It was MANGO actually so it was good but I had a dilemma right before because I was not sure what to get but went with the ICE SCREAM and Jonathan went with the JAMBA JUICE!!! After I got my ICE SCREAM we went to get his JAMBA JUICE which I forgot what it was today but yeah. Then went to Safeway to get a gift card for my friend and yeah. Jonathan needed some shirts so we went to check some out at old navy where I lost track of time and was almost late but I kicked Jonathan out to go to TJ MAX to check if there were any shirts there but unfortunately I left first and left Jonathan all alone. Then I sped walked to the place and checked in. They then called me in and I waited for a while and called me so they cleaned my teeth. I asked one of the dentist to take a picture for me and they did!!! I look really funny but it works. Then I walked back home and at night ate Pho with Jonathan and got a video of him really funny probably going on facebook soon enough and we watched half of the Hulk and thought it was boring and did not finish it.. We also ate some chips and nacho cheese which was GOOD and I made a smiley face with it!!! and that was pretty much this day!!!

Last days in ALAMEDA :(

So the day started off with me waking up like so late like really late. I woke up at what almost 9 and that is so unusual for me considering I have been waking up early like 7 or 8 early so yeah that was weird. So then I woke up and just chatted away into CHAT LAND!!! Then went to finish my blog update from the night before because I could like not finish!!! And started to talk with Jonathan and went to eat BRUNCH and it was actually a breakfast and immediately after it was lunch and yeah I GOT FAT!!! like major LOL!!! So I was actually cooking and the cooking made me so full like no kidding but yeah. It was such a good breakfast and lunch came with some more good food so yeah. I had two meals at once!!! About a little bit later I got hooked onto Merlin the TV SHOW which everybody can thank Jonathan for infecting so yet another TV show I got to watch along with 90210 and Chuck just this winter break!!! LOL!!! Then we went to South Shore and I got a Jamba Juice and MANGO METABOLIZER and Jonathan got a CARIBBEAN PASSION so yeah!!!!!! We then wandered about for the sake of wandering and ended up buying nothing and just renting some movies like the LOVE GURU which was like pretty funny and stupid at the same time!! Just Hilarious and studied a wee bit more for SAT!!! After renting the movie Jonathan, my mom and I went to Safeway to buy some drinks because we magically ran out of apple juice and orange juice!! LOL!! While walking back to the car I saw an advertisement for chocolate called bliss and people say IGNORANCE IS BLISS!!!! When in Safeway I also say a pretty red rose and took a picture of it and I am good!! JK i am not that good LOL!!! So afterwards we all went back home and just went back to my room to meditate on using the internet!!! And then we decided at 7 we were going to eat and like we said we did it and also ate Ice Scream which was good!!! and took a video of Jonathan which will be on facebook!!! Then studied a bit of SAT and then watched LOVE GURU and after Love Guru I watched a bit of merlin and an episode of Chuck so here I am typing this blog!!! OHHH YEAH I also found out my appointment at the dentist are at 2:15PM tomorrow and 3:00 so I got two appointments in one day which never happened before which is also quite weird!!!!

Julia's Departure

So we almost all woke up early besides Jonathan who was drained like for reals. So my sister left this morning around 8:45 or so and the atmosphere was so melancholy for the longest time but it was gonna be OK!!! So we dropped Julia off at the Airport and said our goodbyes. Afterwards we went back to my house Jonathan my mom and I so yeah.. Jonathan and I went back to my room and chatted for a while. I called my sister before her flight at around what 9:50 or so just to check on her before she would bored so yeah. Next thing Jonathan and I knew it was 12:00 and my mom was like LUNCH!!! So we went down to eat some food. My mom wanted to go to the flea market today but there were many delays which are nobody's fault. Well after the good lunch Jonathan dozed off because I made him go to sleep!!! and I also got a few seconds of shut eye so yeah litereally a few minutes!!! At around 3:00 PM Jonathan had to go return the nice MERCEDES back to his sister so he left and at around 3:50 my mom decided to go to the flea market. So it was just my mom and I and it was fun although we did not get anything but TOMATOES hahahaaha. So we walked around the whole place and went back home and did nothing!!! I then went to to my room and went into a bit of a seclusion which was funny and then walked downstairs and to my surprise my brother was back from returning the car!!!! I then started chatting with Julia and Tammy and Jonathan on skype then one by one Julia and tammy left and Jonathan and I were on skype talking to one another and we also faced each other... HOW PATHETIC US BROTHERS!!!! Then I started to study for the SAT's although much studying did not get done but I learned some stuff!!! Well after the studying we watched ANOTHER CINDERELLA STORY which was quite cute!!!! Well I am that kinda guy who just loves chick flicks obviously!!! And now I sit on my bed updating my wonderful BLOG!!!!! and the was me wonderful DAY!!!

Berkeley???

So I obviously spent the whole day in Berkeley which was fun...!!!!! I ate such a good lunch but then rushed to the theaters to catch a 1:00 movie which was Benjamin Button. Man I had such HIGH expectations for that movie so high that I was prepared to cry because people said it was that intense. I liked the movie and sort of fell asleep twice but my sister woke me up and I continued to watch but it was such a sad movie. After the movie I went back to the monastery for an hour or so and then went back to DOWNTOWN to eat some dinner which was pretty good!!! Although it was not fulfilling as I hoped so I knew I was just getting fat!!! So we ate at Mel's and then headed to Starbucks where I took a picture of a rose!!! Amanda got a Starbucks and I wanted ICE SCREAM!!! So I went to Gelato which was so GOOD!! I got Niccola and Stracittella(spelled wrong). MAn that ICE SCREAM was cold but so good!!! Man as I am typing this blog makes me want some ICE SCREAM gosh look what I have done!!!! After the ice scream we headed back to the temple and just hung out and all of the sudden we saw Michael, Christina and Amanda and they joined the party which was like a reunion for us. We took lots and lots of pics hahahahahaha. We then went into the Buddha hall where the lecture was being held and listened.. Afterwards we cleaned the Buddha Hall and cleaned the Christmas tree up and I met a new friend who I took a picture with.. it was... a MONKEY!!! Some of us also played Jump rope in the Buddha Hall with the Christmas lights and what not so we had fun!!! I also met Karen who was Jason's friend from SD who was really nice and funny tooo....
Well that's all that happened with me!! I know it is not much but it will suffice!!!hahaahhahahahahaha
Ohhh yeah my sister also hit me on accident in the head!!!!

A day in San Fransisco

So today obviously we went to San Fransisco!!!! It was so foggy in Alameda that I could not see anything from anywhere which was so cool!!! It was so odd though because it was what like 3 o'clock and it was foggy in Alameda. My sis and I went to S.F. to buy some gifts for some friends well many friends if you will so yeah!!! We just chilled around chinatown for a while and walked in some stores we also went to Lucky Creation to get some buns!!! LOL We then walked through the tunnel to go to Macy's and we were going to get Jamba there but decided to go to the other Jamba!!! where all the stores were and walked into American Eagle just to look around!!! I was then confronted by these i think gay couple who asked me some questions because they thought I worked there. So yeah... I then went to get JAMBA JUICE and since I had a mango craving so then I got Mango SOMETHING sort of forgot and yeah. After the drink we then passed by Hot Topic and I saw some TWILIGHT STUFF hahahhahahahahaha that was so cool!!! I then went to old navy and saw a jacket that I liked at it was like $16 so I was like "hey it's nice cheap" so bought it but still was not so sure at times. Afterwards we headed by to Macy's where I met up with my mom and that was the end of it... SO yeah it was a good day and fun day and also a HAPPY day hahahahhahahahaha!!!!!

Ohhhh yeah and I saw some BOOTS WITH THE FUR!!!! LOL

New Year's EVE!!!!

Well today is new years eve and woke up around 8 or 9 wishing my international friends a happy new year or at least trying to!!! So I went to south shore once again to go buy some last minute gifts and got some chips for my dip. LOL then afterwards went home to blow the leaves to welcome the new year!!! My whole arm got sore from holding it for so long. After it was time to spend some family time!!! We went to my uncle's house and ordered pizza and he made coffe for me to drink so I did not drink it because I made it!!! I am so not addicted to coffe!!! I can live a bit without it LOL. So yeah!! We then played Bingo and trying to find Internet connection around was so tedious like for reals!!!! Man bingo was not my game until one of me close friends wished me luck and ironically I won that game!!! Besides that game my sister and I suched big time while my cousian took all our money literally!!! She won the last three black out games which were $1 per card so she made a big profit.... But good for her!!!!! I then got home before new year officially so I got home around 11:55 pm. Sadly we did not do the countdown but that was okay. I then chatted online for a while and next thing it was 5 in the morning and they forced me to sleep!!! Not saying that was a good thing but still. I then woke up 2 hours later and then went back to sleep!!!! So I slept a total of three hours!!!! Such an accomplishment.

Another day of blogging so let's start with the morning quite literal
which is 12:00 so to my surprise I got a call from my sister saying
that Jonathan was coming over in a few minutes!! Nice to see my bro
again considering he sort of has been traveling the world!! So he
slept at my house for the night and he and I both were extremely
exhausted from not sleeping much from the past few days so I let him
sleep but he was on the Internet for awhile because he can't use
Internet at his aunt's house because the Internet is hating mac/apples
which is quite hilarious!! Since he was sleeping in my room I slept
in my sister's room so yeah!! I did not go to sleep till what 2:00 but
I was not TIRED at all but yeah!! I am like my last blog entry
walking and typing!!! Well for breakfast lunch I had cake and I have a
tendency to ruin the cakes while serving so the cake then looks
nasty.... LOL then around 1:30 I went to play basketball because I
gotta burn of the hyper part of my body...
Well went window shopping walking and got a Jamba Juice orange dream machine
but ironically enough I got an energy boost with all the energy I
already have.
Now walking home. Ohhh yeah!!!! I saw a cute teddy bear and took a
picture
of it just because it is so cute Hahahaha!!!! And that concludes
everything for now at least. And I am listening to tear drops on my
guitar by Taylor Swift!!!!!

Just a Day!

Today my sister went out with her friends so i got the day all to
myself!!! Naaw it's so boring without my sis actually but my big bro
came to hang out with me!! We went out to eat at golden lotus which
was good!!! He had to leave to go meet this fong sui master so I had
the rest of the day to do nothing. But I found a new pass time which
is to wAtch 90210!!! Man that series is so girly but I like it so
much LOL!!! Before I started watching I went to play basketball I met
this dude named Dorion and he was a college student and I played
basketball with him. It was quite interesting playing one on one!!
After I started to walk to do a little shopping so I am walking and
typing at the same time multitasking yeah I am so good LOL!! Now don't
know what to type so just typing to look like I am doing something
productive while walking not just listening to music and looking like
a dork.... Well gotta buy stuff soo type more on the way back
hahaha. !!!

So I am walking back home and decided to rent Chuck since I have
nothing better to do while my sister is not here. Well listening to
smile hahaha and yeah!!! Don't know what else to say so thanks for
reading! Ohh yeah went to sleep at 3 am and woke up at 6 this morning
so going to see what time I am going to sleep tonight hahha with all
these TV shows to watch so yeah!!!

Mom's B-DAY!!!!!

Well at 12:00 AM Jonathan, Tammy, and I went downstairs to tell my mom HAPPY BIRTHDaY!!! My mom was quite surprised because she thought tomorrow was her birthday but if you take time literal then her Birthday was and 12:00 AM I slept a little later today I got up at what 9:00. So that was a 7 hour sleep. I woke up and went downstairs to see what was happening and everybody was cooking. I then mowed the lawn and blew the leaves off the front yard. Then at 12:45 PM people started to come. So many people came that I was quite surprised and we had a party. (I am trying to update my blog before I go back to school so rushing LOL.....) I ate so much and now I feel bloated.... Before we ate though we recited Gwan Yin's name. So we are about to sing Happy Birthday in a few minutes so this is all I can post so SORRY!!!!

High School Musical 3 !!!!

So my day started off by me waking up at 7:30 and I started to watch Heroes and that wasted like 2 hours of my time. Not waste but you know what I mean. After my dad asked me to go to Encinal High School to see if they took broken ovens because it was electronic recycling day. After that I came back home and started to watch One Tree Hill. One Tree Hill is getting really good along with half the other stuff I am watching. Then it came to be 1:45 and my mom came home.... She told me to get ready because we were going to go to the Alameda Theater to watch HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3 which I was truly looking forward to. I know I am really into these types of movie because they are so girly. LOL The movie was really good. I honestly liked it a lot and yeah it was good. Everybody should go watch it soon ASAP. OH yeah the Alameda Theater is really big inside despite the fact that it looks minuscule on the outside. It's really nice and has an escalator and a nice view from the second floor. After the movie we came back home and I started to just do random things. It was then time to eat and then we had to leave off to Berkeley Monastery where I did some homework and etc. After the Monastery it was time for me to go back home and here I am typing this blog.

Funnist Saturday in a While!!!

Well it was one good day. It started off with the PSAT which was quite time consuming but I felt good about it I mean the math part. After the PSAT we went to eat luch. We had an oddly good lunch today for some ood reason but it was quite appetising. After lunch the the dragon dances and lion dancers headded out to CDR ( the City of Dharma Realm) in sacremento. And now we had the dorm all to oursleves. Once they left we went to the farm to do our community service. The hob we did was quite painful but it was really fun. After the farm we went to the dorm and had a quick 12 person dorm meeting of waht we were going to do. We came to a concencus which was we go shopping and afterwards watch a movie. So we went to Big 5 and all the sotres around there and chilled for the next hour of so. Nakula gave us the freedom to do whatever we wanted so we were teacher free. At 6:00 we started to walk to the theatre from the Pear Tree Center. It took us a good ten of fiften minutes to see our destination. During the walk we incountered a pumpkin festival and decided to drop by and see what it was. We saw a pumpkin that weighed 1109 lbs. It was hella big. After we then took a picture and until it was 7:00 we walked to the theatre. The movie was going to start in 15 minutes so we just sat in the theatre talking. The movie was Max Payne and it was a okay move. But the best part of the movie was the previews. I have a list of movies I wasnt to watch which is Bed Time Stories, 007, and Taken. That was such a good day. We should have more days like this though.!!!!

Interfaith Gathering of Blessings

A GATHERING OF BLESSINGS

The program started out with Dharma master Sure and other nuns started chanting Gwan Yin Bodhisattva name and then a Rabbi (Douglas Kahn) created the sound of the Shofar which was like a horn but the sound that came out of it was magnificent. We then heard a lady named Canto Rosyln Barak recited this verse in Hebrew which I never heard but when she chanted it I also felt very peaceful. After she recited it in Hebrew we then recited it in English. The next speaker was Rev. Paul Chaffee spoke about the history of this interfaith chapel. Dharma Master Sure then recited the Hymn of Repentence and everybody recited along. Rita Semel went to speak about How one tradition addressed the larger community. Father Eugene Boyle spoke but unlike everybody his voice was strong and everybody listened to his inspiring voice. He then sang an old African song

Then Rev. Amos Broen talked about the Koran in Hebrew and translated them into English. The next speaker was Shaikh Rashid Patch who talked about the very good relationship with JCRC.
Jewish Community Relation Council. They then gave an award out for the Presentation Of The Bay Area Multifaith Treasure Award and he then gave his speech. Then Dharma Master Sure and Rita Semel sang a blessing to everybody and that concluded the program. After the Interfaith meeting we went to S.F. Chinatown and Tammy and I went to walk in the stores so fun I felt just like a little kid with no worries once again. And we ate a Lucky Creation until about 9:00 then came back home and now typing this hahahaha!!!!!!

Today I got my new shoes!!! I did not think that it would come that quickly just after what 3 or 4 days. Before the shoes came my sister tricked me that my shoes came because she saw the vehicle. Then the mailman really came and dropped off a huge package and my sister told me that it came. I got up and opened it right away and it was really light. I then decided to post this on my blog so here I am typing this blog....

Well on Friday I got up and ran down the hill then ate breakfast. went to lecture and took a nap afterwards. After lunch we drove to Kentucky falls which took about 45 minutes. I got so car sick during the drive. After the drive it took us a little bit more than an hour walk to get to the falls. Joanne twisted her ankle on the way there. We got to the falls and it was such a nice site. We walked right next to the fall and Jackson slipped because the algae on the rocks were very slippery. David fell in and decide to start swimming. David Williams (other David) was indecisive about going in. The water was colder than the Pacific Ocean water. Joanne then caught up with us. Most of the kids left away from the falls then just left Julia, Tammy, David, David William, Joanne and I there and we all decided to jump in and go under the falls. We got some pictures and that is a memory I will always keep. That was an accomplishment in life. On the way back the walk was deadly because it went uphill. We got back to the cars and this time I went in the back of Henry's truck and there I got sick. Took a cold shower and felt more sick and then took a couple Tylenol and went to lecture. The last day we finished the Ten Inexhaustible Treasuries. Then we went around in a circle and told our most memorable moment. Two people were about to cry in the circle whom were Joanne and Henry. And that concludes my Oregon trip!!!!!!

Thursday (4th day at Oregon)

Felix and David this morning decided not to get up for breakfast. I washed the dishes for breakfast yet again. After the dishes I went to wake David and Felix again then I left because I myself did not want to be late for the lecture. After the lecture I went to sleep and screamed at them and they gave me their wonderful excuses. 1 was I feel sick from the dunes. 2 I feel fatigue. After lunch we went on this long hike to the middle of nowhere which was quite fun. Julia got cut by a bush during the hike and Washed dishes after dinner. Took the outside shower once again but this time I felt like yelling because the water was so cold. I could barely put my whole body in the shower. Then after lecture went to sleep. No movie today. I could not sleep though I talked to David for a while. Then kept waking up the whole night.

3rd Day at Oregon

Well today was a typical morning like all the others. So after the first lecture I went to take a nap instead of doing yoga. That nap felt so refreshing. When it was about 11:00 I got up and Gage gave us a ride down the mountain. After lunch everybody was so excited to go to the Sand Dunes and the Pacific Ocean. It took a good hour to get to the Dunes and it was not windy for the first time. We kicked the soccer ball around and through the football around and it was so fun. Although the water was freezing everybody got wet well almost everybody. So many people fell down in the water because of this humongous wave. David got all wet and hugged me a little and got me wet. Everybody was splashing water around and I accidentally kicked sand at Joanne and got David extremely wet. Felix made lines in the sand just so we could play some Volleyball which did happen. The kids played volleyball and I hit Jackson in the face accidentally. We all left early then planned because most of the people fell in the water. My mom fell in the water twice because somebody dragged her down twice. Michael Suc Suc almost got Isabelle sick. After we st oped by the Dairy Queen to eat. We all had to take a shower and I took one outside and it was quite warm that day. I had to wash the dishes once again for dinner. We then went to lecture and finished. Afterwards we watched Ratatouille which everybody liked because it was so cute and cool. We then went to sleep and at 4:50 David woke me up because he said "get the F#$K off me. And he was sleep talking.

2nd Day at Oregon

Well it was Tuesday and as usual I got up at 7:00 to go to breakfast. Then went to lecture. But at lunch we had tomato soup which was very delicious. After lunch we went to the creek to have a discussion and some adults joined also. We told our most embarrassing moments and most of the men(older people) told their love story. But can't go in to detail so sorry. You people would be laughing so much. That day we did not go to the mandatory meditation. But we all went to the discussion and then to dinner. I washed dishes because nobody signed up for that day so my sister signed me up. After the lecture we watched the Spiderwick Chronicles which was a good movie. Then we went to sleep. But we actually we talked on the walkie talkie. This night David brought his sleeping bag so he sleep the whole night with us and when we woke up Felix was off of the air mattress and sleeping soundly on the floor.

1st day at Buddha Root Farm

Well the night was long and cold but I woke up bright and early well not really that early. I woke up at 7:00 were I walked down the hill and took a shower and afterwards ate breakfast. At 8:10 or so I went to the lecture but actually but ended up as a discussion and ice breaker. We all introduced our self. After the introduction I went to set up tents and by the time I was done it was time for lunch. We had a extremely scrumptious lunch. After lunch everybody went to set up their tents if they did not do that yet. I signed up for dish washing duty with Julia and Felix. When some of the kids came back from setting their tents up we went to the creek were we splished and splashed. Many people fell down such as Prajna, David, and Joanne. Then we threw the volleyball around and used it as a weapon to splash people far away. Everybody tried to get me wet. At 3:30 we went to meditate and then at 4:00 we started the 10 Inexhaustible Treasuries. At 5:00 my sister and I ran down the hill to eat dinner. After dinner all the kids went up to do Evening Ceremony. Then went to lecture which was very interesting. After the lecture we went to "sleep" Felix and I slept in the same tent and David decided to join us that night but while I was listening to my Ipod I saw a cricket and freaked out and moved away squishing Felix to the corner. we all screamed like little girls and then another person near us practically told us to shut up. we got it out but before that it jumped on me and I was so startled. David then went to sleep but without a sleeping bag. In the middle of the night he went back to his tent because he was so cold and freezing which was hilarious. That concludes the first day in Oregon.

Car Trip to Oregon

Everybody should know that I went to a trip to Oregon!!! It was a sort of retreat slash family camp but mostly for us kids it was a Family Camp. It started out us waking up at about 5:45 AM and getting ready. Although we woke up on time we did not get to Berkeley on time actually we were one of the latest. We got there and talked to everybody and we were all excited about this trip. There I met Crystal and Joanne. They were my mom's friends niece(Joanne) and the granddaughter(Crystal) they were very load and spontaneous but they did not hang out with us because there was that kind of awkwardness. So we left Berkeley and hit the road which took about 12 or 13 hours. During the ride we slept most of the time until we got to CTTB. We kids were craving a talkmage store Burrito which we got and held until lunch at about 1:00. We met up with Dharma Master Sure for lunch but when we got there he was already done. I called Ben after lunch and he was in L.A. But just talked to him for a bit. Then got in the car for about the next 8 hours. We got to our destination( Turtle Mountain) at 9:00 PM and ate dinner and called it a night. But before I went to sleep I went to my friends tent because he came 2 days prior to us. Felix and I talked to him for a good 15 minutes then went to sleep.

Pink Roses???

The day started out with me waking up late as usual. My sister and I went to watch some episodes of house and decided to go walking. But before that i called my friend Tuong to wish him a Happy Birthday!!! His sweet 16. The day was nice unlike the days before that. I went outside and the sunshine was blinding. My eyes took a few miutes to adjust to this luminous bright light and I decided to take some pictures of my house. We started to walk to South Shore now called (Alameda towne centre) or something like that which is a really horrible name. We just decided to go walking and while we were walking we figured out that there was nothing to do at South Shore but we haven't eaten so we headed to burger king and had a little snack of fries and a BK Veggie which was for some reason very fufilling but did not taste very good. After Burger King we went to bank of America for my sister to deposit a check. We then walked into Safeway just looking around and we looked like little lost kids!!!! AND I SAW MY FAVORITE COLOR ROSES PINK PINK AND MORE PINK. We ended up buying a box of Mac' and Cheese which we had for dinner very nutritional and healthy..... We then went to Walgreens where my sister bought some contact solution and I did not but anyhting. We then walked back to safeway and sat there and waited for my mom to pick us up but to our suprise our uncle came instead thus bringing us home. When I got home I decided to go chill with Tuong an Ben and that's what I did. Tuong had to take care of his cousians dog so there was this petite cute dog with him but very hyper. Knowing Tuong he probably gave the dog's some suger or something.... Just Kidding!!! We shot some hoops and the dog peed on one of Tuong's friends (Tam's) backpack. Which was hillarious. It also got a few drops on Tuong's White Jacket. we talked for a while and I called my mom to pick me up but it took her like 30 minutes to get there because she was busy. And that was my wonderful day!!1

An Awkard Yet Fun Friday

Well today I went to the Berkeley monastary in the morning with my mom because she prepared this supurb meal for the Dharma Masters. We then left to the "Wonderful" Oakland Chinatown where we could not even find a parking space and ended up just going back home with our heads pointed down due to the disappoinment. Just Kidding we were not dissapointed. After anbout ten minutes at home I headed out to the car so my mom could take me to Starbucks were I was meeting my long lost friends back from middle school. Unfortunately my best friend could not make it because of his "DENTIST APPOINMENT" which made me the only guy at this outing with my friends. This made the situation a bit awkward because there were now three girls and me since not to name any names (TUONG) practically ditched me. Well I got to the Starbucks and I came right on time at 1:00 but to my suprise Megan, Anjuli and Fiona were not here yet which made me feel better because I am the one usually late and the typical procrastinator. They finally came about 10-15 minutes later. When they came we exchanged greetings and I met Fiona for the first time, One of their best friends. We got a drink at Starbucks and sat down to have a little chat. We talked about School to One Tree Hill (which is an excellent TV Show). We all finally got this awkwardness behind us and talked like I never transferred schools. That was very reasurring knowing that friendships could last a lifetime or at least 4 years. Fiona on the otherhand was a bit quite and finally got in the chatty mood. Once it was 2:00 Anjuli had to head back home so it was just Megan. Fiona and I. We still stayed a Starbuks and just chatted through the next 45 minutes. They had to leave ergo leaving me to go back home. Megan and Fiona had to go to the movies and watch The Dark Knight. I started to walk home and I decided to call Tuong who asked me to go play basketball so I walked all the way to his house because he was hella slow. We then headed to the Mckinley where Tuong beat both Ben and I in 21 twice. Yeah we got schooled. Then out of no where my sister comes and yells out my name Andrew Andrew!!!! I was quite suprised my mom and sister knew where I was but they found me and came to drag me to the movies to watch The Dark Knight which was a coincidence because Megan and Fiona went to watch the same movie. So I left the courts and sent my "deepest" apology for ditching him. So now we are practically even for ditching eachother in the same day. That's why we are best friend we think alike hahahaha. Well I got to the Theaters and watched the Dark Knight and it was good excellent quite suspensful. I then went home and went back out to go play some basketball and Lum school because Wood school was all filled. After an hour of Basketball I came back home and went upstairs on to my computer and went onto Facebook (i am not "addicted) and see what was happening. I messaged Anjuli and added Fiona as my friends and called a few of my friends in Taiwan and Hong Kong and Singapore. At the same time multitasking talking to Fiona on facebook and Sunny on MSN. That was practically my Awkard Yet Fun Friday!!!!!

A typical Tuesday

I sarted the day off at 11 or so. I brushed my teeth and stormed down the stairs to accompany my sister to go to Berkeley but once I got downstairs they have already left but to my suprise my mother was in the kitchen. I went back to my room and just relaxed until my mom called me down to tell me that we were going to bring our car to have a formal check up. We went to the Neo Autoworks body shop. We leftt the car there for them to check and came back in about 45 minutes and waited in their little office for about another 45 minutes. DUnring those 45 minutes we went to Chinatown where my mom bought a bunch of items. I bought some Chili Bambo shoots which were etremely delicious. There I saw the most asian vending machine ever. it had like soy milk, grass jelly,and herb tea. And it was so funny. On the walls of their office their was a silver baby shoe with a bunch of jewls on it. There was also a really fasicnating clock which looked like a car tire. There was also this very cool bambo plant that caught my eye. By that time the car was done and we went back home. We got home and ate lunch. Then at 3:45 we left for our meeting at Berkeley at 4:30. At Berkeley I drank a whole bunch of tea that made me stay up through the night. After the meeting we went to Chinatown once again to buy another bunch of items. After Chinatown we headed to Nob Hill where we got some Cheescake without eggs hahahha(heaven). We got home at about 7:00 and we had to bring Kevin and his mother to the airport where we said our goodbyes and we went home to watch more episodes of House. And I found out that David could go to Oregon with me!!!!! Yeah YEah YEAh YEAH

Yesterday I went up to CTTB to celebrate Gwan Yin Anniversery and I got their at about 9:00 in the morning ergo leaving my house at about 7:00. When I got there I met up with Wilson who brought me a paper to fill out for my astrology class next year. I filled it out and hung out with Wilson and went to the Administation office to see if Ben was there so I could go bother him. He wasn't there so we concluded that he was at his house in the back mountain. We got their and knocked on his door but nobody answered so I threw rocks at his window and he looked out. It was so funny. He finally opened the door so we could go in and we stayed in his room for a while and went to the dorm . Annex 4 to go to his other room where we were just chatting. Afterwards we went into the city of Ukiah were we stormed in to David's house. Wilson got us lost before we got there and we finally found it to his house. Now we entered his house waking him up at 10:52 where he said "noooo why didn't you come 5 minutes later" because he wanted to sleep till 11:00. Wilson Ben and I raided David's room while he was getting ready and took some Chips Ahoy. I was looking through his big pile of DVD's many many. Which I was intrigued by because there were so many. We dragged him out of his house and went to walk around some shops finding an att shop. Ben wanted an iphone so he was finding a shop and the closes one he thought was in Santa Rosa. And there he found one right in the city he lived in. That made us crack up. We walked all around Ukiah like into Ross and Big 5 and etc. We went back to the CTTB and went to the weight room to lift some weights were I benched a little and did some biceps and triceps. But it was refreshing because I have not worked out in ages. We then went to the front of the Buddha Hall were I met up with everybody like David, Kevin, Weasley, Jonathan, Julia. Then drove back home but took a detour to San Fransico were lives the famous Golden Gate Bridge. hahahaha. And we ate at a vegetarian resturant in San fransico and once we got home my sister and I watched house all day.

Venerable Master's Nirvana

Well today is Dwan Wu Jie and the celebration of the Venerable Master's Nirvana. I woke up at 7:20 and took a shower which was quite refreshing. Johnathan spent the night in my room but to my surprise he was not there. I later found out that he did the 3 Steps 1Bow with sunny. I got to the tent at about 7:50 despite the fact that I was waiting for my roommate. When I got to the tent most of the Boy school and Girl school were there. This celebration was much different from the years before due to the fact that both schools were here because usually the Venerable Master Celebration is after school is out. When it came to be 10:00 the whole tent was filled with people even people were standing outside the tent. In my opinion more than half of the assembly was Vietnamese. During the ceremony there were now eight groups instead of 4 so it went a lot faster. The group in the back left corner for some odd reason did not get any incense and Hwei and I were wondering why they did not get it and came to the conclusion that they did not have enough to use in all 8 groups. By lunch time there were probably 1500 people and all the dining vicinities were full including the Confucius Hall. There were about 100-200 people standing outside and we had to open new boxes of cushioned chairs for them to eat. Afterwards the whole dorm ate and it was very good food. After we ate Albert wanted to play some ball so we played. Albert still is quite good even though he has not been playing the whole year. Michael Lan also came up with Jenifer so we played ball with him as well. Later in the afternoon at around 2 or 3 D.M. Tsung came to play some basketball with us and fortunately he was on our team and we won a few games. At 4:00 the summer camp farm counselor's had a class with Mr. Fan absorbing what he was trying to tell us. We have a lot to prepare before the students arrive and I have 5 finals tomorrow so I better hit the books or else I might get a low G.P.A.

SAT 2

Today is 6/7/08 pretty cool huh. Six Seven And Eight. Today I took the SAT II subject test for math and it was quite fun actually. Although I only answered 20 questions I felt very good. The morning started with me going to breakfast and to my suprise the were having breakfast at the big dinning hall. I ate some breakfast and went to the dorm to take a shower. After my shower we went to the school where we were getting ready to depart to Ukiah High Scool. To our suprise Mr. Ishihara brought us to Starbuck's where some of us got some fraps. Finally we got to our destination point and waited outside till they opened the door. Then Raymond found out that we needed the admission ticket to enter. He was literally freaking out. We then tried to find someone or a cellphone to call the boy's School then we saw a parent and asked him if he had a cellphone. The parent was Xiao Anne's guardian and I ended up asking her if we could borrow her cellphone and she let us. We called and nobody answered and we thought it was hopeless. Xiao Anne's guardian then talked to the instructor and was able to reprint his admission ticket. We then entered the room and the only 4 Asians were sitting in the back row consecutivly. It was Victor, Raymond, Xiao Anne, and I. Two were taking U.S History and two taking Math 2. Our instructor was extremely slow so we finished later than everybody from the other rooms. During my test I thought it was quite simple compared with my practice test before. I managed to answer 20 questions which was quite significant in my view considering that I am in a low math level right now. We then left to go back to CTTB. I ate lunch and went to hit the sheets because I was drained from the whole morning. We then did some community service which took like 2 hours for the Venerable Masters Nirvana. When I finished my work I took my Chinese final which I did not finish but was not that complex. At 4:00 we had rehearsal for passing the food around on Sunday. I became the "running" guy because I had to speed walk to pass the dishes around. I then ate dinner and my mom finally came at about 5:40. Were she ate dinner and prepared to make Jello. I then came back and took a shower and afterwards went to pack my things away. I then went to the movie and finished watching Cassandra's Dream which was not a good movie. Afterwards came back to dorm and started to pack my clothes for my mom to bring back tomorrow. Then I studied for my chemistry finals which Jonfen (Johnathan) helped me with and that was my SAT SATurday.

San Jose Tournament

The basketball team is composed of 10 people. Stephen, Jackie, Chris Z., Mohammad Ali, Davy, Alex, Robert, Timbo, Kenny, and me. Well this year we had a pretty good basketball team and managed to get 2nd place at the San Jose tournament. We won the first game just by 1point which was made from Robert the last free throw. Then after the first basketball game we had 2soccer games which was very intense even though I did not play. The soccer team managed to get 3rd place. Winning the 2nd game but losing the first. 2 weeks later we went back to finish the 3basketball games left. The first game was against a team named the Panda's which we won. The 2nd team was San Jose which we won but I did not even do that good. Actually I did very bad but the whole 3 games I was playing injured. The next team we played was Best Friends (CCIC) which we lost by .We only have ourselves to blame though because everybody did bad that game. Afterwards I went home for the long memorial day weekened. Also have to thank Johnathan for helping all the students with their pains and the students gave him pain because he was massaging to many people.

Dreams

Well wendsdays night the 21st I had an extremely vivid dream of kim-vinh & thuc hue's family and they were all in America at BBM. I was very suprized to see them. Chin was also in my dream and kim-vinh was living at his place near BBM. Then I woke up and was hoping that one day the dream will come true and I hope to see you guys soon very soon. I did not even know that that was kim-vinh because in my dream he looked a little like him but something was different. Kim looked much more calm than usual and was not so energetic like he is half the time a little bit weird huh. To see kim-vinh not full of energy (kim energy)

Well just wanted to update you guys on what's been going on in the dorm. Just a little taste. Hahahaha ohh god I sound so evil muhahaha.

Air Force 25's

I ordered my shoes on ebay what three days ago but did not think they were in mint condition. I was waiting day after day hoping it would come that day. But it did not until today. A regular Friday when I left my house nothing was there and when I came back bammmm it was at my front door. I ran into my house thinking in my head ohhh my god my shoes are here actually here. Then got my shoes and went into my living room and opened the box. Hahaha They were so pretty in their original box and I was ecstatic and my heart was pumping so fast. I shoed my whole family my shoes. Their original pricce was $200 but I got it for 50 on ebay. hahahaa. Still in good condition and not used. Today is such a good day hahaaha. Soo happy.

Saturday full of Games

This week was off the chain. Chilling with my team is so fun especially because we did not have a real coach to coach at our basketball. Sorry i did not updaate my blog in a long time but no time stressing with school sort of but now i am on spring break. This week was the playoffs and both basketball teams went to Princton to do an expo on dragon dance. I quit dragon dance this year because did not have the feel. But our first game was at Coyote Valley at 10:30 so it was fun. My team played their hearts out that game because the team we played we never beat and they had one good guy. So practically all the times he beat us it was one on five. by the way my team was Jerry, Timbo, Kenny, Bill, Steven La, Victor, and myself. Composed of both A team and B team. Not bad we beat them and were the C team. During the season both teams could not beat this team in particular but when it was time we beat them. This game was intense though the score was 43 to 40. I was so proud of my team because we came so futher than both originaly both A abd B teams. Then we ate at the resturant with my mom, sister, and godfather.

The next game was going to be at 3:30 and it was such a fun game. Both teams were not playing for real even though that it was four on seven. Dang we still lost but they were very good. The team we played were the RV's and they shot so many threes on us it was crazy. Ohhhhh Yeah some of our video's or on YOUTUBE thanks to my wonderfull sister she caught all the clips. Just type in Dragons C and you'll find videos of everybody on my team making at least 2 points. hahaaha the final score was 75 to 93. but it was a fun game. I was proud to be the Captain of the C team and would do anything to get them to play with me again in the future. At my second game many people came to support us like John and Lucie. Mr and Mrs Bostick. I would also like to thank the coaches both Nakula and Michael Suc Suc.

A WISHFUFILLING DAY!!! JONATHAN!

Well sorry everybody that I did not update my blog in ages. I have been very busy these days. I just came back on Thursday and was sick for two weeks and still going. Well I was at BBM this Saturday and I was just so happy. Right before lunch I had the best present anybody could give me. Jonathan came bacl!!! I was so happy and was so suprised because everybody tried to suprise me. It was a good suprise though. Well that's how my day started. First I met so many new friends that day and they were really nice and funny. Their names were Sophia, Kenny(Alina),Billy and Jackson. They are sisters and brothers. Throught the day we had so many things to do and after lunch at BBM we went to visit my grandmother because it was almost her aniversary. Afterwards Julia and I were planing to go walk around downtown Berkeley. Since Sophia, Alina, Billy and, Jackson had nothing better to do then sleep(SOPHIA) so they came along also. I went looking for a few elf hats but came in no luck whatsoever. It was good though because it made their family communicate with us more. When we came back we had a game of basketball me and the boys, but then the girls were making fun of our "skills" so they came to play with us and wow they were right. They were really good the girls. They beat Jackson,Billy, and I really bad. What like 26 to 3. I am not kidding.LOL. After the game it was like 5Somthing so we just chilled in the hallway because Chinese Orchrastra was having their rehersal. At 6Somthing we started singing Christmas Carols. And just at the right time my brother came back(Jonathan) and I dragged him in to sing with us. Like in Star Trek they say"Resistence is FUTILE." So we also had some pizza. After the singing we started makeing gingerbread houses and that was fun. We made a gingerbread village just for Jonathan LOL because he does not have a pernament home yet so he needed somwhere to stay. Showtime was about to happen because Chinese Orchrastra just finished their performance. Then all the kids came up and we sang for the whole Berkeley group. That was the end of my big wish fufilling day.!!!

Gwan Yin Chi and A BLACKOUT!!!!!

The Sunday of the Gwan Yin Chi was very fun. Many people came. Some of us boys did the Three Steps One Bow. Although half of the dorm was gone that week we still had fun. The other half of the dorm went to Sacremento for Honoring elders over there. It was very cold in the morning but I could feel the chi in everybody. Just a very good vibe. During the week of the session there was a major blackout in the City. We had no power for Breakfest. Everybody woke up late though because all our alarm clocks did not go off. The breakfest was nice because it was so old fashined. We were so ecstatic because this was the first time we had a candle breakfast sort of like Hogwarts.LOL I went to cermony that day and it was so cool. They used the backup generator. Nobody could read the words in the Pu Men Pin so we used flashlights. This cermony was like no other I have ever seen because of the lighting. I felt very cool and comfortable. Altholugh I could not read the words I had to hold the book close up to my face in order for me to see the words.

Random things before and after lunch!!!!???? During Chinese Class

Well that day we had pasta beans and grapes. You guys know how people say don't play with your food. If you don't play with your food how can you create food? Well Raymond made a face of pasta grapes and beans. I guess he was reall bored or somthing. God the table I sit at has people with so much creativity somtimes it is annoying. That day at lunch I don't know how Weasly put four slices of sandwhich filled with pasta, rice and vegetables into his mouth. After lunch I usually go into my chinese classroom where I chill/relax. One day my whole chinese class was there even Ben(my teacher). Hansa started drawing on the white board and then next think you know Ben threw markers. The pictures are so hillarious. Can't you see the resemblance between Ben and the pig(LOL)!!! Just kidding but still it is pretty funny. We recreated the pig into a Ninja Pig and recreated it some more many times. During chinese class we are studying SAT II which is quite complicated. We went outside and sat near the school in the shade. We were all throwing Pine cones at each other and then Ben joined in and we all ganged up on Ben. After a minute or two we stoped and started going over the questions in the SATII.

An Saturday of Haircuts

Man the Saturday of Hircuts was so hilarious. I also had my haircut that day but I cut it short. Mr.K usually wants our hair really short but this time one of the parents cut our hair and man she knew how to cut. Although she did not know that our hair had to be a certain length so all the dorm students hair was still pretty long. Well that's how they like it long. I had the shortest haircut because I did not care about how my hair looked as long as I still have hair. Mr. and Ms. Bostick were there just watching us . Looks like they were having fun watch us get hair cuts. hahahaha.

A Day of Rain ,Rainbows,Clouds and a Peacock?

Well this was from the week that the Humbolt state students came. It was part of the class or you just went to get a half a unit. That day was a bit tiring because it was raining and we the boy school students had to bring the men to their rooms. That day the clouds were very nice and beautiful. There were two big as heck rainbows overhead and some of the Humbolt students told me they followed the rain bow to get to CTTB. I thought that was so amazing because how would they know it would lead to the city. But yeah. A peacock eating a rainbow. Just kidding. The sky was so majestic that day it was unbeliveble.

The First Month Of School!!!!

Well alot has happened the first month good and bad alike. Well because I went up a day early not many people were there but some where. I got the best bunk in the room and ironicly I got the same room as in my first year as a dorm student. I was quite suprised though. On the first night some of the other kids and I were waiting for two taiwanese kids to get to the dorm that night and when they came they all came to my room and we slept at 4:00 in the morning. That was such a night because we were talking what we did the whole summer. Adding that everybody was really jetlag. I managed to get some pictures at like 2:00 in the morning with out them beating me up lol. Well the next few days everybody started to come and we soon became a new family with only what 3 or 4 new students in the dorm. Then it came the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL which was really fun believe it or not. My classes are very nice. Meditation, Chemistry, Geometry, Chinese 4, English, U.S History, Buddhism and then P.E. Well my teachers are really cool but my hardest classes are Chinese and Chemistry. My teachers are really weird especially my chinese teacher. Who is BEN CHEN. (just Kidding) He is a really good teacher just like Heng Jen Shr which I really miss because she is not my chinese teacher but I am happy Ben is my teacher.

He sure knows how to push us students though maybe just alittle too much. During one of my English classes we acted out the tragedy of hamlet. Which we are using the girls schools supplies.

Then came peace day which was not bad either the little girls were really cute when they sang their song though. Just to say the first time the Jr. High and High School went to the Peace day event which is usually dominated by the girl school.

I am so busy after school this year because I have a Student Body meeting every Tuesday and then on Wendsday I have Chinese Orchrastra whis I am trying out the flute just for the heck of it. The Moon fesitval then came and that was a hit I think the best one we ever had. We had skits the 2 wise men which I did it with Ben(my chinese teacher). The school started a T-Shirt club which everybody spent lots of money and the T-shirts were really nice. There was also a really cool juice foutain looking thing was really really neat.

Then we played musical chairs which was full of pushing and luckily nobody pulled the chair from underneth of them. After the moon festival we had a long clean up and everybody was happy. On Sunday as usual we had a study hall and then a tragic accident happened which was truly a tragedy. Ms. Sutherland passsed away and we recited for her and hopes she goes to a good place. On that Thursday we held a memorial in the Confuscious Hall which many people attended . We recited the Amitahba Sutra for Ms. Sutherland.

And finally ending my first month I came back home for an appointment. On sunday there was a kids session at Berkeley Monastrywhich I attended and it was nice sorry I don't have any pictures of that and that concluded my first month of school. I am going to go back to CTTB toaday and the next time i'll be back is around Novemeber 12 which is Veteran's day for another appointment for my braces to change colors and tighten them. So until then I will be at school and I hope next time I come back I can update my BLOG SPOT hahahha so see you all later and until next time!!!!!!!! Ohhh yeah HAHAHA I changed my brace colors to blue and light blue hahaha that is so cool huh.!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last Day Before I go to the Dorm

Well this day was such a rush passing bye slow in the morning and fast in the evening. Well I started off the day as a typical person and then waiting till 12o'clock to go to pick Solene and Xavier and the San Fransisco Airport. Well guess what happened man out of all the flights this flight got DELAYED. So the new time was 2:11 so we waited till about 1:30 to leave and we came on time but they had to check in to the United States and go get their luggages. My sister and I waited for about an hour and finally the CAME!! On the car ride back Xavier slept while we all were just spacing out. OHHHH Yeah I saw Sunny at the Airport but he had to take the B.A.R.T to go meet up with Justine or somthing like that. I went to shoot some hoops and my whole morning was full of packing. I am still freaking out about me forgetting somthing but I hope I don't forget anything. Solene went to sleep for HOURS in my sisters room and wow it looked so relaxing!!!! Xavier stayed up the whole day so far until we go to sleep but who knows what time that is going to be.

We had a big dinner of PHO with my uncle and aunt. we passed down memory lane with me what 6 months old taking a bath. But forget that and Finally SOLENE woke up from her deeeeeep deeeeep BEAUTY SLEEP and went to take a shower and eat a big bowl of PHO. My mom of course feed her too much foor so it took longer than usual. And now I am just thinking of stuff to type on to my blog but looks like there is nothing so until next time which will be a long time because tomorrow I am going back to the dorm so next time I hope I will update this pitiful blog to make it less pitful.

The Last Few Days In Europe

Well with the Italy tour over everybody was going their own ways. But the lay people from the United States stayed until the 10th. All the Dharma Masters left the next day besides Dharma Master Sure because he had to go to Finland. During these last few days we were at Chinagora once again and having nothing to do we were in my moms room watching Resident Evil. The night we came back from the tour we all said goodbye to Fred thinking that we would not see him for the lat few days but ironically we saw him everyday single day until we left. In Europe one of the moms kept bullying but it was so fun because we kept bullying each other back and fourth. I loved to stay in the hotel and sleep in but on the day before Kim Vinh left Kim Vinh said he did not want to SLEEP but he failed and I tried to talk to him the whole night but he lost it and fell ASLEEP. The next day we all went to this other temple which we ate lunch at and afterwards Dharma Master Heng Sure gave a lecture. When the lecture concluded we were waiting for Kim Vinh to leave and you could see the sadness in his eyes and also you just can tell everybody was said and Tammy cried like most of the times because she was going to miss him. Kim Vinh gave me THREE BIG HUGS before he left and I was just touched by him. Eventhough I knew I was going to see him again one day soon.

During the next few days we went to eat Pizza at pizza hut which by then I was already sick of pizza so I got this pasta looking thing which was not bad. Afterwards Marvin did not go to the Eiffel Tower yet and my mom promised him that she would take him and that day it looked like it was going to rain and he still wanted to go. I was a little mad at Marvin because my mom is not in Tip Top shape like she used I was worried that she would get sick. But anyways I could not stop his desire so I just let them go and WOW they came back so late that night around what almost 2 o'clock. The next day we headed to the airport and went back to the states. The day we got in Philli our plane was delayed and I was so tired because on the airplane I watched so many movies just one after another. So almost the whole way I slept. Also remind me never go to that airport again because going through security is such a long and stressful process. I dislike that airport very much!!!!!! Ohhh yeah I have to pesonally thanks everybody who had to take care of us around in Holland and in Paris. I thank everybody from the Bottom of my heart. Thanks you for EVERYTHING!!!!

3rd week The Asian Invasion in Italy

Well once again I managed to type my blog!!! Well this week was a happy, sad, and tiring week. First in the morning everybody was sad because some people were going on the tour and some people going back to their homes. I was so surprised when Bao-Loc cried though it was just so odd but it's good that we know she cared. Everybody was wiped out from all the walking, going up the stairs, just everything. During this week we visited so many churches and wow these churches were gigantic. We were in the bus alomost the whole time and we could not even eat on the bus. That was the hardest thing not to break but I half to say almost everybody broke that rule. We went to many places in such little time and that just sucked. While in the Pantheon we saw a big room with a hole in the middle that was fasinating on a camera because it looked like it was a window. I still can't believe when I went to Venice I did not even know I was there. In Venice I went on the Gondala with my sister Kim vinh davy and my dad and for some reason it was kinda funny how my dad took like 20 pictures with me. How stupid can I be being in such an ancient place with out even knowing until I was off the city under water. Wow I just can't believe IT!!!! In Italy it was just a Sundae everyday just because we had ice cream just everyday. Also pizza which made me so sick because I had pizza so much in the CITY and just despised it so much when I came back to the States. While we were at the Vatican we went inside the Church and the tour guide gave us like 3 hours to go everywhere. That was too much time because everybody got bored and all the kids left outside and still had like an hour and a half left of time. Wow at the Colosseum it was crazy because we KIDS were the main attraction because all the guys that said slide was a chick game(Kim Vinh,Davy) played it. Oh MY God that was just Hillarious. Kim Vinh was like I got to get to ten before the end of this trip man and he got to like 13. While Darius was playing he looked like he was pushing so hard man it's like a huge energy wave going through your body when you play him.

On the bus Tammy and Fred were playing a game that whoever slept first would lose and guess who lost TAMMY. It was hilarious when Fred won becuase he was teasing Tammy so much but it was just for fun. Well we went to the Leaning Tower Of Pisa and it was so cool because we had a Family picture and it was nice having a leaning tower as the background. Although we lost everybody over there we bought some weapons like a bunch of Ninja stars for Michael and some shirts for John and Lucie. Well that was pretty much what we did in Italy but it was a little weird because everywhere we went people kept asking if these people were monks and nuns and they always asked where we came from and we would say America and they would be like REALLY!!!!

Well Italy was a nice place to go to despise the bus ride and stairs and heat but it was nice spending some time with Kim-Vinh after he graduated and stayed in Holland.

2nd week with the Buddhist Deligation and CHINAGORA

Well this week was just WOW, if I can say so myself. I was looking forward to this week just because all the kids were there and it was time to do some Dharma work. This was a different experience then last time in Europe. Everybody lived in a hotel and we had ceremonies every kind you could think of. There were so many amazing people that worked the whole day just cooking for everybody including the Dharma Masters and laymen. The first day all the kids were in the lobby waiting for the monks and nuns to arrive. Well it was midnight and finally they arrived but all our parents were on the first floor talking amongst themselves. The next day was just jammed pack starting with lunch. the lunchroom where we ate could not fit all the people that were there the first day. The kids had the jobs of making the tables for the whole assembly. Throughout the week we were all occupied and had our jobs to do. The kids went out for the first time to get some ice scream and had some fries. The students from DVS had to give a speech about the school and mostly all the European kids went up to talk but they pulled my sister out of the crowd and then my sister took me with her. That was so unexpected because my sister and I did not plan anything out. My sister did outstandingly well then I did not to good but it's alright. All the adults where worrying about the us and we were just bored out of our minds. We had a kids day out which we went to a Chinese supermarket were Kim Vinh got loaded with a lot of food.

Well few days after all this we had a trip with Dharma Master Heng Sure to go around Paris to site see. We went to the Lourve to see all the paintings statues and more. Everybody went to see the Mona Lisa and after a while we lost my dad and found him about an hour later it was so embarrassing but funny at the same time. After the Lourve we went to Notre Dame and went inside and it was astronomically big inside. After Notre Dame we went to this church which had an exquisitely graphic hall of stain glass and if you were there you would just be astonished. Well that was Saturday. The next day was an auspicious day because Dharma Master was transmitting the Three Refuges and the Five Precepts. Many people took refuge and a few took precepts but that was the last day the kids would be together because Thuc Hue and Nguyet would be going back to Holland because they were not going to Italy with us. This was the end of Chinagora and the Dharma Assembly.

First Week In Holland

I had such a great time despite the fact that I am totally fatigued. I remember my first day in Europe when I went to Davy's house to live at for a night. While I was there I had the pleasure of challenging Xavier and Tammy in a Game of Xiang Qi(Chinese Chess) which was very entertaining. That night we went to see the Eiffel tower. The next morning I went to the train station in Paris to go to Rotterdam Central Station in Holland thinking that I would see Kim Vinh and his sister Thuc-hue picking us up but not knowing what happened I met an old friend Phuong Thao instead.

I did not know what the plan was but all I knew was I would see Thuc-hue tonight and Kim vinh in a few days. I hoped Kim vinh would come soon so I would not be the only boy. After we discovered where Anh's dad was and Phuong Thao's dad was we went to visit Ang and her family. After we met up with Anh we went on another long expedition to Belgium where we bought most of out chocolate throught the whole trip. The historic Peeing Boy who peed on a bomb to extinguish the spark so it would not detonate and eradicate their city.

When we arrived at Kim Vinh's house we saw Phuong and he got a lot bigger if I can say. He looked very sophisticated and well taught. Well going down memory lane I recall sleeping that night was so painful. I got TEN Mosquitoe bites which was painful but thats okay because I know I had to pay off my Karmic offenses. The next day we went to Amsterdam and wow there were a lot of people. We met Han and his mom in Amsterdam. We walked around Amsterdam for the longest time and we saw two hookers. Well while all the kid were drained we were waiting for the superb dinner at a restaurant call Tai San and that was a good dinner.

Wow then and now I could not believe that one week has passed by so quickly just like a blink of an eye. But that night Thuc Hue and Phuong Thao had to leave because the next day they were going to Paris by car and the U.S delegation was going by train and would hopefully meet them that next day. Well the next day came and at 11 o'clock we left to Rotterdam Central Station to board the train and go back to Paris. By the time we got to Paris the whole U.S delegation was there Including my Dad and etc. There were so many people at Davy's house so we all split and slept at seperate places. We went to sleep very late that night and for once I meditated and recited. At that time I felt so peaceful and fell asleep as if I ran ten miles.

That ends this post and will start a new one about Chinagora and the Buddhist delegation.
